2017 Tweed Manhattan Make-a-Thon

April 1, 2017 was the day the Makers took over Tweed. With builds from past Make-a-thons, students and educators worked to connect them together in order to run a long chain of events that would culminate in a paper chain being released from the 2nd Floor atrium.

Over 15 schools participated from across the city, including students from Gregorio Luperon, PS 15, and PS 96. The Design League interns worked to connect all the paper chains together and when the time came, they helped with their release.

At the end of the event, the different builds were either taken back to their schools or left for the Chancellor as a thank you gift.
