MFSC Maker Ed Cohort at Maker Faire

In September World Maker Faire took over the New York Hall of Science. MFSC Instructional Tech Director Lori Stahl-Van Brackle was there and brought the MFSC Maker Educator cohort with her to get inspired by ideas they can bring back to their classrooms or Maker Spaces.
The cohort was built after last year’s successful Manhattan Make-a-thons that featured building paper roller coasters and Rube Goldbergs. This year we’re looking to inspire teachers and schools to come up with ideas around making that they can show, share, and help others do. The 2018 Manhattan Make-a-thon will follow the format of World Maker Faire with opportunities for showcasing ideas and for attendees to Make, participate, and explore within a community of Makers of all ages.
