Making in School
Cohort Member
The Roosevelt Island School has been incorporating Making in recess and after-school activities as well as during classwork. Partnering with the newly opened Cornell Tech, the school is becoming a showcase of 21st century learning and Making.

Why did you choose a career in education?
I chose eduction for the joy of educating the young minds of the future.
What hobbies or other interests have your brought to your classroom?
Reading and character development.

How do you plan on bringing Making to your students this year?
I plan on using materials to create and stucture objects that represent what we have learned or are learning. And as an extension to a unit of study, possibly the arts.
