With your team look over the code inside your assigned Scratch Project. You must answer the following questions together as a group. Each answer should be two to three sentences long.

*How did the game designer use variables? What effect were they looking for in the game when they used variables?

*How did the game designer use loops? Give three examples of loops from the game.

*How did the game designer use the following:

     If Touching

     Broadcast/Receive

     Movement

*Did the game designer include a splash page (or opening sequence) that told the user how to use the game?

*Are clones used in the project? If so, how?

*How did the game designer develop a point/scoring system?

*How clear are the expectations of the game to the player?

*Is there any message or deeper meaning to the game or is it just for fun?

*How enjoyable is the game to play?

*How challenging is the game to play?

*What would you do to make the game better?

Share your answers in a Google Doc that everyone on your team has been invited to share and therefore can access.

Homework

Remix the game! Each member of your team will be making a unique remix of the game you have been assigned. Change the look of the sprites, backdrop, and avatar. Increase or decrease the speed the game is played. Use comments to highlight the changes you have made within the code.

The Lead Designer will make a studio for your team and invite the team to curate the Studio to share your remixes. You must answer the Scratch Questions in the comment area of one other member’s game. Each member needs to have their game code reviewed and the questions answered. The Visionary needs to make sure this is done for each member of the team.

Each member of the team then creates their own Wix page with the questions answered in class and links to the original project as well as a snipping of your remix with a LIVE Link to it. Submit your Wix page by Jan. 10th, 2016.

Scratch Project REMIX

Create a unique version of the game by changing the look of the game and its functionality. You can design sprites in the Scratch tool or use Pixlr. You chan chose one of the backdrops from the library or use images from Google. These things will not be allowed in your G4C Project but for the homework it is allowed.
